E&A Contractors were successful in a project bid to manufacture wind towers for the Snowtown II wind farm project in the mid-North of South Australia. To support the project, a major upgrade of existing facilities was required, including acquisition of heavy engineering equipment, and refurbishment of the company’s existing blast and paint facilities.

Ventilation/Extraction System – Design and Installation
Oliver Technologies was the appointed subcontractor for the design and installation of ventilation/extraction equipment within 2 temporary building facilities (measuring 29 x 28 metres) established to enable blast and paint of fabricated ship blocks during construction phase of the AWD. The project formed part of the ASC’s $120 million upgrade of shipyard facilities.
